Change Another User's Password

If you have administrative authority (Prime Contact or Contact) you can change the password for another user in your organization by selecting the Change Another User's Password menu item from the ACOL Client Services menu. For example, if a user forgets his or her current password you may assign a new password in order to restore the user's access.

The default password for the client account can only be changed by the Client Support Centre.

As you enter the passwords, they will be masked to help protect the secrecy of your passwords.

The system displays confirmation of a successful password change. For security reasons the new password will not be displayed back to you.

The following fields are displayed. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

Your current password

Required

The password currently assigned to your account.

User ID

Required

User ID whose password is to be changed.

New Password

Required

Provide desired new password

New Password (Verify)

Required

Confirm the new password.

Buttons:

Update - Submit new password.

Cancel - Quit without changing password and return to Client Services menu.
